Comfortable bed and spacious room with beautiful river views. The air conditioning was not operational, making the room stuffy.

The location was excellent for participating in the Around Brunner cycle race.
The condition of the room was shabby to say the least. The rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. Our room was noisy (right beside the internal wooden stairwell). Very early on Sunday morning the glass recycling skip was emptied - ending any chance of a sleep in for all guests! The bathroom was small, cramped and pretty inadequate for the tarriff.

Reasonably priced food, good service and lovely view of sea and river. Good sized room and newly renovated bathroom with a hair dryer, a walk-in shower and bath sheets.

The amazing river views from my sixth-floor room were lovely,, complemented by a fantastic, helpful staff. Meals in the dining room were deliciously crafted and well presented.

recently refurbished rooms, convenient location for town and station, excellent courtyard views
The bathroom lacked heating!!! Air conditioning would significantly enhance the overall comfort!!! Consider better insulation for the windows, which did not open properly!!!

Bar food was good and reasonable price. Ambiance and sky and the barman all great.

Bar staff asked re drinks and brought nibbles to our table as there was 6 of us. She was very polite and friendly
We have stayed before and been very happy. This time the rooms were special deal but unsatisfactory as above we would rather have paid more and got nicer rooms. We were not asked if the room was satisfactory when we left or given any opportunity to comment on anything. It was the weekend of the mining disaster but we had booked prior to this.

The staff were cute and made the check-in process quick and easy. The dinner and breakfast meals were delicious. Every dish was well presented and packed with flavor. Many of the fixtures felt outdated and the bathroom could have been larger. Although it was centrally located with ample parking, the overall condition of the hotel detracted from the experience.

in my opinion the hotel is much better than the reviews on the web site. The location is very good, my room was large and clean and the price was ok.

In centre of town
Room very basic and closed in feeling. Quite cramped but was an ecomony room. Okay for one night stay

Had a great stay with a lovely welcome at check-in, and the room was comfy and warm, perfect for a good night’s sleep. I really enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge area and taking a dip in the indoor pool. Just a heads up, the breakfast selection could use a bit more variety, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 😊

outside windows did not shut properly so the room was cold and very noisy from the road. would have been nice to have connecting rooms seeing as we was a family in 2 rooms and the room next to ours was just locked by a bolt at the top so could hear all that they was saying very easily

Close promixity to my client
Lack of fan in the bathroom, window in bathroom to low and if it was open while in shower I would be in view of anyone passing. Too close to car park, very noisy.
